A meeting was held at the Tuzla City Administration between the Mayor of Tuzla, Dr. Sci. Zijad
Lugavić, and representatives of the Lung Cancer Patients Association “Krila nade”, Dr. Arzumana
Ožegović-Oručević and Dr. Amer Omerović.
During the meeting, the Association
representatives presented their previous activities focused on providing support to lung cancer
patients and their families, as well as plans for the upcoming period. Special emphasis was
placed on the importance of prevention, early diagnosis, raising awareness about lung cancer,
and improving systemic support for oncology patients.
The discussion was held in a
constructive atmosphere, with mutual understanding of the importance of cooperation between
institutions and associations in order to improve the quality of life of patients. The City
of Tuzla expressed its readiness, within its competencies, to continue supporting initiatives
and projects aimed at strengthening healthcare and social support for oncology patients.
The “Krila nade” Association expresses its gratitude to the Mayor for the meeting,
openness to dialogue, and expressed support, with the belief that joint efforts will
contribute to tangible improvements for patients and their families.
